Boston GuitarFest XIX

Individual lessons, group classes, seminars, and guest artist master class series, are offered to serious guitar students in this age group. Taught by BGfest resident faculty including Eliot Fisk, Zaira Meneses, Adam Levin, Lautaro Mantilla, Jerome Mouffe, and invited guest artists to include the Ana Vidovic, John Dearman (LAGQ) and Grisha Goryachev.

Master Classes

BGFest XIX offers master classes (live and streamed) with international guest artists Ana Vidovic, Grisha Goryachev, and artistic director Eliot Fisk. Each student will receive approximately a 40 minute time slot. All master classes will be recorded and saved for asynchronous viewing.

Participants who wish to perform in BGFest masterclasses must submit a 5–10 minute audition video after completing registration, before the registration deadline. There are only 12 spots available for masterclasses and it will be first come, first served. It is highly recommended that if you want to perform in a masterclass to submit your registration and video as soon as possible. Please indicate your piece and plan on sending a PDF of your score once you are notified that you have been accepted.

Private Lessons

BGFest XIX Academy participants receive a total of two individual lessons (or one individual lessons and one masterclass). Lessons are approximately 55 minutes. If you would like extra private lessons, please contact us and for an extra fee we will arrange them for you with the teacher of your choice. BGFest XIX Academy faculty include: Jérôme Mouffe, Adam Levin, Grisha Goryachev, Zaira Meneses, and Lautaro Mantilla.

Both The Foundry and Multicutural Arts Center are close to public transport. Lechmere (green line) or Kendall/MIT (red line) are within walking distance.
