The Young Guitarists Workshop is a fun, engaging week of activities tailored to young artists ages 6 – 15.
Runs from June 26–July 2.
Join the Young Guitarists Workshop and get a chance to work with some of Boston’s finest guitar instructors in inviting and stimulating group sessions!
Through group instruction, workshops, and guitar exercises, young guitarists are offered the opportunity to experience life at New England Conservatory and have a taste of how much fun music making can be.
YGW 2017 is divided into two Divisions: Level I for ages 6-10, and Level II for ages 11-15. Over the course of the week, students will be exposed to level-appropriate group classes, masterclasses with distinguished faculty, music appreciation, fun workshops, and of course snack, lunch and a fun time. Snacks and lunch are included.
Note: No youth participant may stay in Northeastern University housing.
For more detailed information and downloadable scores, visit the YGW blog at https://www.ygwboston.org/
